Today, Buffalo Prep is one of the most successful programs of its kind in the country. We start by identifying bright, motivated 5th, 6th, and 7th grade students, then offering accelerated classes to help them get into the top local high schools and colleges nationwide. This program - covered by full-tuition scholarships-is designed for African-American, Hispanic-American, and Native-American students from low-income families throughout Western New York.

IT'S NOT EASY. NOT EVEN CLOSE.

As a "Preppie," you'll spend hundreds and hundreds of hours studying math, science, English, and American history. You'll be tested on your critical thinking, problem solving, time-management and study skills.

After completing Secondary Prep, you'll apply to one of 13 local, private high schools that provide more than $350,000 in financial aid to Preppies. We can't guarantee acceptance; we can guarantee you'll be prepared (75% of Preppies earn honors grades in high school).

Finally, during your junior and senior high school years, we'll help you through Graduate Prep, offering college and career advisement, SAT preparation, and assistance with college applications and financial aid forms. As a preppie, you're expected - not just encouraged - to go to college.
