Middle School Prep

Middle School Prep offers a full arts-integrated academic and social summer program for qualified fifth and sixth grade students at the Nichols Middle School.  The program helps participants prepare to excel in school and exposes the students to Buffalo Prep and other educational opportunities in the Western New York community.

These post fifth and sixth grade students participate in arts integrated classes such as Math, Technology, Social Studies and Language Arts for five weeks during the summer. We utilize highly skilled, motivated instructors who teach in both public and private schools during the academic school year. Workshops are conducted on site daily. Some examples of workshops include: Building Health Self-Esteem, Physical Education, Internet Research Techniques, Multi-Media, Visual Arts and the Spoken Word.

The 2011 program begins in July, 2011 and concludes August, 2011.  It runs Monday through Friday, 8:30 a.m. to 4:00 p.m
