Celebration of Achievement 2011
Buffalo Prep graduate, Jaimee Fair, gave a moving speech about her journey through Buffalo Prep as well as words of encouragement for her fellow graduating seniors. Jaimee is graduating from Nardin Academy and will be attending Carnegie Mellon University in the fall.
In addition to recognizing our dynamic students, guests had a chance to participate in Buffalo Prep's official game show, Prepardy!, designed to further showcase the academic talent of our students, the charisma and character of each of our contestants, and the philanthropic nature of the Western New York community. Participating prominent community contestants included: Mr. Daniel Cantara, First Niagara Bank; Mr. Paul Cronin, HSBC Bank USA; Mr. John Hurley, Canisius College; Mr. Rene Jones, M&T Bank; Mr. Maurice Naylon, Buffalo Renaissance Foundation; Mr. George Ostendorf, Metalico Buffalo, Inc.
Our game show host, Mr. Dennis George, Buffalo's very own "Quiz Master", led each of our participating community members and their student partners in a fun filled twenty minute competition with both academic and trivia questions. President of Canisius College, Mr. John Hurley and Buffalo Prep Graduate Joshua Blackey were this year's winners of Prepardy!
